What is the Winsted Craft Beer Festival?

The Winsted Craft Beer Festival supports two non-profit local organizations. The Adult Training & Habilitation Center, (ATHC) helps individuals with developmental disabilities. ATHC offers vocational and non-vocational opportunities based on clients’ interests, skill level and goals. Program participants have the opportunity at ATHC to realize a fulfilling life provided by skilled and dependable employees and job coaches.


What is The Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus Council #8253?

The Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus Council #8253 was established to help the needy and support religious vocations while promoting charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Its purpose is to speak out for the lives of the unborn, the aged and the mentally challenged.

Attendees will be able to sample beer and wine offerings from 25 local and national craft breweries. You will also be able to sample offerings in a commemorative tasting mug in 2-ounce samples. Live music is provided and food is available for purchase on-site during and after the festival.


How much does the Winsted Craft Beer Festival cost?

General Admission pre-sale tickets are $25 through August 15, 2019. After August 15th and at the gate the day of the event, tickets are $35. There are also Designated Driver admission tickets for $10 this permits an attendee access to the festival, they also receive a commemorative tasting mug when they leave the event. Designated Driver tickets are not allowed to sample any beer or wine.


How can I purchase tickets to the Winsted Craft Beer Festival?

Tickets are available online at www.WinstedBrewfest.com or you can purchase tickets from any Knight of Columbus or at the Blue Note Bar & Ballroom in Winsted and at the entrance gate the day of the event.


Who can come to the Winsted Craft Beer Festival?

Only persons 21 years of age or older with a valid ID can enter the festival grounds, this includes Designated Drivers. No children or pets will be allowed. (Service dogs are accepted).


How long does the Winsted Craft Beer Festival last?

The festival tasking starts at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Gates open at 2:00 p.m. Brewery representatives are not allowed to pour samples after 5:30 p.m. but are allowed access to set up after 11:00 a.m. the same day.


What should I bring to the Winsted Craft Beer Festival?

Bring an open attitude and try the various styles of craft beer, wine, and liquor. Please come well hydrated and take advantage of water, soda, and food located on the grounds. Water will also cleanse your palette, don’t rush through samples, take your time and enjoy the various tastes and aromas.


Are outside drinks and/or food allowed on the festival grounds?

No outside drinks or food will be allowed into the Winsted Craft Beer Festival grounds. Food will be available for purchase within the festival grounds.

Drinking on an empty stomach is not encouraged, so have something to eat either before or during the festival.


Can a Designated Driver Ticket holder sample beer?

No, designated driver ticket holders will not be allowed to sample any beer, wine or liquor. Any Designated Driver ticket holder that is seen drinking at the festival will be escorted out immediately. Designated Driver ticket holders must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid ID when entering the festival grounds.


What are the Designated Driver or non-alcoholic options at the Winsted Craft Beer Festival?

Water stations will be available. A Designated Driver can also get free of charge sodas and bottled water from the Winsted Lions food booth. General Admission attendees can also purchase bottled water and sodas from the Winsted Lions food booth.


What is the Ticket and Wristband Policy?

This is a rain or shine festival, all vendors will be located under two large tents protecting them and you should there be rain. No refunds will be allowed once tickets are purchased. The Winsted Craft Beer Festival will not reissue any lost or stolen tickets. Attendees must wear their event wristband at all times while on the festival grounds.


Will there be an ATM available?

No, there will not be an ATM on location, please plan ahead and bring cash.


How does parking work?

There is no charge for vehicle parking. Vehicle parking will be located on the grounds within easy walking distance of the festival.
